Validating reloaded windows vista
Hi grfull Welcome to SF You may activate via Internet ( tutorial link below ) Activate Windows 7 Online Over the phone ( tutorial link below ) Activate Windows 7 by Phone Use the product key under the laptop or under the battery .System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit & Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit CPU Intel Core i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz Motherboard ASUS P6T DELUXE V2 Memory OCZ 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 OCZ3X1600R2 Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series Sound Card On Board Hard drive failed on my Acer Aspire 5734z. Apparently, I incorrectly thought that I could just reload windows 7 Home Premium 64bit from any source, and use the product activation key on the bottom of the PC to validate it.Since this is the same OS as originally came on this laptop, how do I get it validated?Or, alternately, how do I get a replacement OS without having to buy it again? You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.I am the only user and the administrator on this PC.
Since a product key can be used to activate a certain number of installations, the servers validate both the genuineness of the key and the number times it has been used to validate any other Office 2010 installation. The Office 2010 product ID is derived from the key and this is then validated by the Microsoft servers.I'd be happy to dl aik if it would resolve that problem. And if it's worth a try, how do I integrate it into win 7 once downloaded? AIK will not solve the issue you are referring to - and I somehow think what you are trying to say is not actually related to this post at all.Would you be so kind as to start from the beginning to tell us what is going on?I've tried everything I could think of to resolve, but I keep coming back to this.I'd be happy to dl aik if it would resolve that problem. And if it's worth a try, how do I integrate it into win 7 once downloaded? Jimbo, I'm an end/home user and don't need the aik for multiple installs.
